My son E. worked with Zarah on articulation, a stutter, and on speech in social settings (reading social cues, responding to questions, etc.). Not only did E.'s speech improve in each area, he adored working with Zarah. She was consistent, playful, responsive and respectful of him. Moreover, Zarah was extremely insightful and supportive of us as E.'s parents. She would make time to talk/meet with me, she established and shared reasonable goals and strategies for meeting those goals, and her explanations were always thoughtful and clear. My son worked with Zarah from 3.3 - 3.8 years old. In this short time he transformed from being hardly intelligible to speaking clearly. His confidence soared; he previously would not want to talk or engage with his classmates or teachers but presently he will strike up a conversation with anyone who will listen! Zarah made lessons fun and interactive for him. She is patient and has a warm personality, which made my son instantly comfortable.
